Daguerreotype

“Le Daguerréotype français au musée d’Orsay”. A panoramic one, it was very impressive.

Something

“Let there be light” he said. I wasn’t there in fact, that’s what I’ve been told. Something like that…

Man with the pigeons

He was kind enough to let me took a photo of him. At least that’s what I understood from his smile in response to my question “Est-ce que je peux vous prendre en photo?”. Maybe it was just my French being funny.

Yet another photo of the Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower

Those 232582657-1 previous photos of the Eiffel Tower didn’t make it but this one will change the word for good, for sure!

Facelift

Although it took some time, after a smooth move to the new server I decided to give some love to the web site. It wasn’t an easy decision to abandon the home-brewed blog application to use Wordpress. In fact, before settling on Wordpress I considered to use Zangetsu which is a powerful blog engine built on Django. If I wasn’t lazy enough to theme it up I would just use it instead. Anyway, for now I guess it’ll be better to forget about the underlying structure and just use the site to publish my… stuff… Even though I don’t feel like I have a lot of stuff to say nowadays. We’ll see…

So, being said I’m planning to use this area to publish the things that interests me. Don’t be surprised to see writings about software development in general, free software, Pardus, programming languages, emacs,  movies, computer graphics, books and all the stupid ideas I’ll have as usual - out of order.

As the last note on the site… For a long time I was not very fond of comments on blog posts but trying to be a better human being, I’ll enable them most of the time.

That’s all folks! I’ll try to be around.
